At Mahamaya Polytechnic of Information Technology, we believe that physical education is an integral part of holistic development. Our institute provides excellent sports facilities to encourage students to participate in various indoor and outdoor games. Regular physical activities not only keep students physically fit but also help them develop team spirit, leadership qualities, and stress management skills.
The sports department organizes various inter-class and inter-collegiate tournaments throughout the academic year. Our students actively participate in district, state, and national level competitions and have brought laurels to the institute on numerous occasions.
Well-maintained football field with proper markings and goalposts. The ground hosts regular practice sessions and inter-collegiate tournaments.
Standard cricket pitch with practice nets where students can hone their batting, bowling, and fielding skills under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Dedicated courts with proper infrastructure for volleyball and basketball games. These courts are actively used for practice and competitions.
Well-maintained courts with proper lighting for badminton and lawn tennis, allowing students to play even after regular college hours.
400-meter track for various athletic events including sprints, middle and long-distance running, hurdles, and relay races.
Open-air fitness zone with basic equipment for physical exercises, warm-up, and cool-down routines before and after sports activities.
Multiple tables available for practice and competitions. The institute regularly organizes table tennis tournaments for students and staff.
Dedicated area for chess and carrom board games that help students develop strategic thinking and concentration skills.
Well-equipped gym with modern fitness equipment for strength training, cardio exercises, and overall physical fitness.
A week-long event held every February featuring various athletic and team events. Students compete in track and field events, team sports, and individual games to showcase their sporting talents.
