STATE-OF-THE-ART LABORATORIES

At Mahamaya Polytechnic of Information Technology, we believe in practical learning alongside theoretical knowledge. Our well-equipped laboratories provide students with hands-on experience in their respective fields. Each department is furnished with modern equipment and tools that meet industry standards to ensure our students are well-prepared for their professional careers.

Our laboratories are regularly updated to incorporate the latest technologies and are maintained by skilled technical staff who assist students during practical sessions. The institute has invested significantly in developing these facilities to enhance the learning experience of our students.

Laboratory

COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING LABS

Programming Laboratory

Equipped with 60 high-performance computers with latest software including various programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python), IDE tools, and development platforms. This lab enables students to practice programming concepts and develop software applications.

Database Management Laboratory

Features systems installed with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, and other database management tools. Students learn database design, implementation, and management in this specialized environment.

Networking Laboratory

Consists of routers, switches, network cables, and servers to facilitate practical understanding of computer networks, protocols, and security systems. Students gain hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.

Web Development Laboratory

Equipped with latest web development tools and software where students learn HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other web technologies to create dynamic and responsive websites.

ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING LABS

Basic Electronics Laboratory

Features oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and electronic components for basic circuit experiments. Students learn to design and analyze electronic circuits in this foundational lab.

Digital Electronics Laboratory

Equipped with digital ICs, microprocessors, logic analyzer, and digital IC testers for experiments related to digital circuit design and analysis.

Microprocessor & Microcontroller Lab

Contains various microprocessor and microcontroller kits, programmers, and interfacing modules for hands-on training in embedded systems development.

Communication Systems Laboratory

Features communication trainers, modulation and demodulation kits, and antenna systems for practical understanding of communication principles and technologies.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING LABS

Electrical Machines Laboratory

Houses various electrical machines including motors, generators, transformers, and associated control equipment for practical training in machine operation and testing.

Power Systems Laboratory

Equipped with power system models, protection relays, circuit breakers, and simulators for understanding power generation, transmission, and distribution concepts.

Electrical Measurements Laboratory

Contains precision measuring instruments, bridges, meters, and calibration equipment for accurate electrical measurements and instrumentation training.

Power Electronics Laboratory

Features power electronic devices, converters, inverters, and controllers for experiments related to power conversion and control systems.

COMMON LABORATORIES

Physics Laboratory

Well-equipped with apparatus for conducting experiments related to mechanics, optics, electromagnetism, and modern physics to strengthen the foundational understanding of physical principles.

Chemistry Laboratory

Contains chemicals, glassware, and instruments required for conducting basic and advanced chemistry experiments relevant to engineering applications.
